Hoses for the aquarium The operation of an aquarium frequently requires the use of different hoses. They are made of high-quality material and come with a card for hanging up or on an environmentally friendly cardboard reel (for retailers and breeders) Tip for use: Hoses can sometimes go awry: they become slightly bent or lose their shape. Put the hose in hot water for 20 minutes. The hose will then be much more flexible and kink-free For CO2 systems: Most plastics are permeable to the gas CO2. For this reason dedicated CO2-resistant hoses are available for CO2 systems, e.g. JBL PROFLORA CO2 TAIFUN TUBE in black or transparent Environmentally friendly: Instead of plastic spools, we now use a cardboard core which can be disposed of as 100% paper waste or reused! The large inner diameter prevents the coiled hose from kinking.
